01 · The story

Tap water. Superpowers. Zero instructions.

A 100-second action comedy made in PAI. A meteorite lands in the city reservoir, and by mid-morning everyone who drank from the tap can do something impossible. Nobody knows how to stop.

01

“Perfectly saf—”

On TV, the anchor lifts off mid-word. On the couch, an old man looks down at his empty glass.

GULP!
02

SAFE.

A hopscotch jump lands like a meteorite. The sidewalk caves in. Everybody's fine, just very dusty.

KRAK!
03

Nobody knows how to use them.

Dogs fly, ATMs leave walls, taxis flip, gas stations explode. Every accident comes with instant, sincere regret.

KA-BOOM!
04

One calm man.

He puts down his glass, walks into the chaos in his slippers, raises one hand, and the whole city stops.

FREEZE!
05

“Now it's my turn.”

The redhead the geyser swallowed comes back silver, dry, and this time she knows exactly what she's doing.

Stats are scientifically accurate. Regret is measured in hands over mouth.

03 · The portal
The action bible describes it in one fixed sentence. When words weren’t enough, a still from an old take brought the spiral back.

Physics first.

Every power has real weight. Impacts throw shockwaves of dust, speed leaves a wake of wind, and concrete, glass and metal break with true mass.

Fixed look block, opening every video prompt: “ARRI Alexa 35, vintage Cooke Panchro, 180° shutter, down toward 144° at the peak of each impact.”
WOW
2/4

Big reactions.

Whole-body, superhero-movie reactions: jaws dropping, eyes going wide. Sincere, never rubbery. Nobody knows they're in a comedy.

The director, 24 Sep: “This is a superhero movie. There has to be some overacting, some exaggeration.”
CUT
3/4

The edit is the joke.

The Boys and Marvel for the scale, Edgar Wright for the rhythm: inserts, crash zooms, whip-pans, two to four short takes per beat.

The director, after the first render: “The camera is way too still, and there aren’t many cuts.”
CALM
4/4

One calm man.

Everyone overreacts except him. His camera only glides: slow dollies and tracking shots, never handheld. His stillness is the punchline.

The only 360° orbit in the film is his.

The film, in its takes.

08 · The city

One city. One morning.

A prewar city in the Chicago and New York mould: brick and limestone, rooftop water tanks, an elevated train and no skyscrapers. Mid-morning sun, hard shadows, a blue sky with cumulus.
